Sgian Dubh 'Coruisk' Truestone
The heirloom quality Sgian Dubh 'Coruisk', features a long, slim blade in Böhler M390 stainless steel - one of the best powder metallurgy knife steels you can get. It not only looks great, but also has fantastic performance and can be used in the field as a highly capable EDC or hunting knife. The blade also features polished filework on the spine.
The bolster is solid Nickel Silver, and not just a ferrule (metal band around the wood). Behind the bolster is a spacer in Truestone - stone is powdered and this powder is then bonded in a resin. A handle center in African Blackwood with a peened, domed and satin finished Nickel Silver main pin. The pommel is in stabilized Hornbeam and features a mosaic pin.
The sheath is 100% handmade in-house with saddle stitching and Celtic knot toolwork to match the color and feel of the knife.
This 'Coruisk' is a real special Sgian Dubh to compliment a kilt outfit and can be proudly passed down to future generations.
