Sgian Dubh 'Scavaig' - Brass, Leadwood & Ebony
My take on a traditional Scottish Sgian Dubh - the 'Scavaig'. This one is in 1095 carbon steel with a ramdon slow rust blued patina. It has been crafted with a brass bolster that is solid (not a furrule), a stabilised Leadwood handle centre and a pommel of Gabon Ebony. The handle pin has been peined, domed and polished to a satin finish with detailed filework on the spine. It has a mosiac pin in the pommel. The sheath is also 100% handmade with saddle stitching and embossing.
Blade: 1095 Carbon Steel (HRC +/- 60)

Traditional hidden tang design. Comes with a custom fitted sheath as seen.
