My take on a traditional Scottish Sgian Dubh - the 'Scavaig'. This one has been crafted with a copper bolster that is solid (not a ferrule) and an African Blackwood handle centre. Keeping with the Africa theme, the pommel is in Camelthorn with a fine mosaic pin. This traditional blade also features filework on the spine and a main mosaic pin in the handle. The sheath is also 100% handmade in-house with saddle stitching and toolwork.
