The 'WJ' Recurve Hunter
Named after one of the last great ivory hunters out of Mozambique - Wally Johnson.
A gentle recurve leading to a broad, dropped point hunting blade. Crafted in VG-10 core clad in stainless steel Damascus with a 'Wild' pattern - this blade not only looks great but will perform too!
A rounded Nickel Silver finger guard and a full, tapered tang handle that has been shaped from stabilized and dyed Maple Burl. Stabilization is a process whereby the wood is impregnated with resin. This makes it nearly impervious to warping or cracking and is also weather resistant. Tough and beautiful!
A finely detailed mosaic pin in brass and nickel silver complements the fine eyes of the Maple burl and the blade and a Nickel Silver lanyard tube ensures that this tool is practical for the field.
This is something a little special and will certainly stand out from the crowd on your next hunting trip.
