Sgian Dubh 'Coruisk' Truestone

SKU: 25010

The heirloom-quality Sgian Dubh “Coruisk” showcases a slender blade in RWL34 stainless steel - one of the best powder metallurgy knife steels you can get with superb performance. Equally suited for the field or everyday use, it’s a highly capable and elegant side companion. The spine features polished filework, adding a refined finishing touch.

The bolster is solid Nickel Silver — not merely a decorative ferrule — followed by a spacer in Trustone. The handle’s core is stabilized Bog Oak, fitted with a peened, domed, and satin-finished Nickel Silver main pin. The stabilization process impregnates the wood with a specialist resin which is then cured. This makes the stronger, wood water resistant and a lot less likely to crack or warp. The pommel, made from stabilized Bog Oak, is accented with a detailed mosaic pin for a distinctive finish.

The handcrafted sheath, made entirely in-house, features traditional saddle stitching and hand-tooled Celtic knotwork — perfectly complementing the knife’s timeless character and craftsmanship.

This “Coruisk” is a truly special Sgian Dubh — a distinguished complement to any kilt outfit, crafted to be treasured and proudly passed down through generations.
