The Ardmair is a sleek, refined, and elegant Bird & Trout design, evolved from the much-loved ‘JBT’. Built for performance and crafted with precision, it is an ideal field knife for light game and outdoor use.
The blade is made from premium Takefu (Japan) stainless Damascus steel with a VG-10 stainless steel core, forming a sharp, durable cutting edge with excellent all-round performance. This core is sandwiched between layers of forge-welded stainless steels, creating the distinctive Damascus pattern while adding corrosion resistance—resulting in a blade that combines reliable performance with a striking, elegant appearance.
Featuring a robust full-tang construction with an elegant taper, the Ardmair is designed for strength and balance. Intricate filework along the spine adds both grip and a distinctive handcrafted aesthetic.
The handle is crafted from stabilised Maple Burl, paired with a striking stabilised Hawthorn bolster for a clean, classic look. Additional details include fibre liners, a mosaic pin, and a fitted leather sheath with toolwork highlighting the knife’s attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Each knife is supplied with a custom-fitted, hand-tooled leather sheath, providing secure carry and durability in the field.
