The spine features detailed filework, while a nickel silver finger guard provides strength and elegance. An intricate mosaic pin adds a distinctive focal point, complementing the exotic character of the piece. The front spacer is stabilised Mammoth tusk, paired with a handle of stabilised Karelian Birch — a striking combination of history and natural beauty.
 
Stabilisation involves impregnating the material with specialist resin under pressure before curing. This process strengthens the wood or ivory, enhances durability, and greatly reduces the risk of warping or cracking, while providing excellent resistance to the elements.
 
The knife is supplied with a fitted leather sheath, lined with chamois leather and finished with hand stitching and traditional tooling.
