The 'JBT' - Jause, Bird & Trout

The 'Jause, Bird and Trout' - long, slim and elegant. A classic Bird and Trout design that also lends itself perfectly to the Austrian tradition of Jause - a snack of cold cuts that is normally served outside. The slender blade is also perfect for use as a 'Jagdnicker'.
 
Crafted in customer choice of stainless steel (RWL34, M390 or N690), carbon steel (52100) or carbon damascus/pattern welded steel with a full tang and filework on the spine. Choice of oiled hardwood, stabilized wood, premium hardwood (show grade Ironwood, Amboyna burl or Snakewood) or synthetic handle scales. Handle scales could also be the 'split' type with two different materials. Fibre liners and a mosaic pin of the customer choice is standard on the JBT. Custom fitted leather sheath.
 
The basic model in N690 stainless or carbon steel with oiled hardwood scales, liners, mosaic pin and sheath starts at 325 GB Pound. Other exotic handle material like stabilized giraffe bone and mammoth tusk/tooth and personalization (e.g. initials etched on blade or carved in the sheath) is also available on request.
