The handle is fitted with Linen Micarta, secured with solid brass Corby bolts and finished with red vulcanised fibre liners. Micarta is a tough, stable composite material made from resin-impregnated linen — it will not warp, crack, or absorb moisture, making it exceptionally durable and well suited to kitchen use.
 
The balance point sits just forward of the handle, close to the blade and just behind the first brass bolt, giving the knife a precise, controlled feel in hand. A practical, no-nonsense kitchen tool with a clean, purposeful look — built for daily use and made to last a lifetime.
